This is wonderful late blooming allium from Korea and China. It blooms late and is undaunted by cold weather, flowering through frost and snow. It is a clump forming, bulbous plant that produces tough, flat chive-like leaves. In fall it puts up wiry stems with pink, pendulous flowers that bring the last bumblebees for miles. It increases slowly and never seems to produce seeds. A perfect garden plant! The flowers also dry perfectly, holding their pink color all winter in a little vase.
