Brunnera, sometimes called Siberian bugloss, is a shade loving, woodland plant native to eastern Europe and Asia. It expands slowly with fuzzy, heart shaped leaves from creeping rhizomes. In late spring early summer blue, Forget-Me-Not-like flowers rise on wiry stems to 18” above the foliage. It is not tolerant of dry soils or hot summers.
