Forsythia (Oleaceae)

$20.00

The famous spring blooming shrub that explodes with bright yellow, four lobed flowers before the leaves come out. Classic plant of old house sites around New England, persisting for many years. Occasionally reaching massive size making a great hedge plant. It spreads slowly by suckering. A native of Asia in the same family as the olive. Can sometimes flower weakly after a hard winter. We have quite a few this year of good size.
