Alpine strawberries are the diminutive cousin of our cultivated strawberry (that was bred into existence only 150 years ago). It is a mounding, perennial plant that sends very few runners. It is day neutral and will produce a crop of 1” long, sweet and aromatic berries, either red or white, all summer long. The mounding habit makes it a nice, tidy edging plant.

F. vesca ‘Reuben’ - Red berries.

F. Vesca ‘White Soul’ - White berries. Doesn’t seem as attractive to wildlife.

Sold in quart size pots.
