Tanacetum Parthenium (Asteraceae)

$8.00

Feverfew is another plant that people have used medicinally for a long time with references going back to the Greek herbalists. It is a strongly scented 18 in. bush of light green, pinnate leaves and covered with small daisy-like flowers that make nice additions to a bouquet. Full sun, and average, well drained soil. Tea from the leaves is a traditional relaxant and chewing on the bitter leaves has been found to prevent migraines. It is also good for the digestive system! What’s not to love about this plant? Well, it can be weedy, so cutting back flowers can help manage it. In my garden it has never become a problem as they tend to be short lived.

AVILABLE THIS YEAR

Sold in quarts as well started seedlings.
